Trinity CertTESOL
Description
ILS English is an approved centre for the
internationally recognised teaching qualification Trinity
College CertTESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other
Languages). We aim to prepare trainees for work in the EFL
profession by providing an efficient service in a friendly
and supportive environment
This intensive four-week course, taught by highly qualified
and experienced trainers, provides candidates with a practical
grounding in teaching techniques and methodology through
a combination of instruction, observation and extensive
supervised teaching practice.
The course involves over 120 timetabled hours and includes
six hours of observed teaching practice with English language
students.
The class size is limited to 12 participants, which helps
to create a friendly and personal atmosphere. The course
is predominantly practical and afternoons are dedicated
to teaching practice.
